Why another Marketing Cloud blog?
Yet another blog for Salesforce professionals. Or actually for those to become Salesforce developer professionals that are so demanded for this growing environment. However, from what I’ve seen in my experience, that demand grows unbalanced as there is a lack of experienced software developers and architects going full time into the Salesforce world.
On the other hand, junior developers can find in this land of opportunity that first job position that can be difficult to obtain as a general purpose developer. In exchange for that opportunity they will need to be open to do implementation and configuration work in any of the salesforce clouds, and not pure development.
To restore balance we need experienced full stack developers, pragmatic, didactic, to lead and share knowledge inside the Salesforce ecosystem. So very specifically this blog is for full stack developers, that by any reason make the decision to immerse themselves in Salesforce Marketing Cloud projects.
If that’s your case, this blog will speak your language, we are developers, and we wanna go directly to understand how this works. Let me tell you that this environment is eager for technical knowledge and creativity for solutioning, and putting Salesforce Marketing Cloud knowledge on top of your full stack background could potentially make you be a rockstar in your organization.
So welcome, know that in this blog I won’t do clarifications or introductions to object oriented programming or any kind of scripting, and I will cut to the bone to the core concepts of Marketing Cloud to have your path to become a Salesforce developer as fast as possible. Wish with my heart that this can help, even if minimally, to bring dev talent to a community that needs it.
